Yamcha may have lost every important fight he’s ever been in, gotten blown up by an exploding cabbage-alien, gotten resurrected only to watch his ex-girlfriend start a family with the man responsible for his death, been forced into retirement after getting impaled through the stomach, and ended up living alone in the desert with his cat… but no one else he knows has their own theme song, so that’s got to count for something.

When little I did wonder how come he had a theme song and no one else did, I mean besides Goku, Gohan and Bulma. Also I was proud to be a girl and own the Dragon Ball music :3
I’m sure it’s because Yamucha was always a very popular character (a fact totally lost on American fans/people who think DBZA is the actual series), and Toru Furuya a popular seiyuu to boot.
